Dr. Mathog was founding member of Michigan Facial Aesthetic Surgeons.

Dr. Robert H. Mathog M.D was the Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Wayne State University and senior partner in MFAS. Dr. Mathog specializes in head and neck cancer, maxillofacial trauma and facial plastic surgery. He was board certified in facial plastic reconstructive surgery and works at Oakwood, Crittenton, Beaumont, Karmanos and DMC Hospitals. Dr. Mathog authored four textbooks and more than 150 papers and chapters on trauma.
