New Technology in Facial Plastic Surgery is Not Always the Best

Most of these are considered classic operations to correct deformity or facial dysfunction. In 2010 however, patients are offered myriad treatments for a cosmetic concern each with great promises.
In radio, print and web media, patients are bombarded with ads promoting a new technological advance in facial plastic surgery. Unfortunately, many of these new innovations prove to be fads which do not live up to their grand promises.

Becuase of this investment, corporations must advertise heavily and sometimes stretch the truth as to how much their product will help the patient.
It is suggested that pateints thoroughly investigate any potential treatment they are considering. Getting objective counseling is critically important to make an informed decision.
